IGI delivers Skills Bootcamps as part of the North East Combined Authority (NECA) Create Talent Programme, helping eligible learners access fully funded creative training in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects while working towards an official Adobe Certified Professional qualification.
To date, we have supported hundreds of aspiring creatives in developing their skills and achieving industry-recognised certifications through our Skills Bootcamp programmes.
What's Included?
To be eligible for a Skills Bootcamp place, you must be aged 16 or over, live in the North East of England, and meet one of the following criteria:
Whether you're employed or self-employed, this Skills Bootcamp can support your professional development. If you're self-employed, you'll need to demonstrate how completing the programme will help grow your business, increase commercial opportunities, or expand your freelance work.
This Skills Bootcamp is not available to individuals currently enrolled in full-time education. The programme is designed to support people who are employed, self-employed, or actively seeking employment.
This Skills Bootcamp is open only to individuals living within the North East Combined Authority (NECA) region.
To be eligible, you must be a current resident of the area. Applications from outside the NECA region cannot be accepted.

Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) is the official industry-recognised certification for users of Adobe software such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. Achieving Adobe Certified Professional status demonstrates your creative skills to employers and clients and confirms that you have reached a professional standard in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Our courses prepare you for the official ACP exam, helping you gain a globally recognised Adobe qualification.
Yes. To get the most from your Adobe Certified Professional course, we recommend that you have access to your own Adobe Creative Cloud licence, particularly for practising outside of training sessions.
If you do not already have a licence, the IGI team can advise you on suitable Adobe Creative Cloud plans for individuals, students, and businesses.
If you meet the Skills Bootcamp eligibility criteria, your training is fully funded through the UK Government's Skills Bootcamp programme, meaning there are no course tuition fees for eligible learners.
You will need access to your own laptop and the relevant Adobe software licence for the course you choose.
All Adobe Skills Bootcamps are delivered in person at our Sunderland training centre, with additional online learning resources and support available following your training days.
No prior experience is required. Our Adobe Skills Bootcamps are suitable for complete beginners as well as learners with some existing creative experience.

Yes. Upon successfully passing the assessment, you will receive an official Adobe Certified Professional qualification, recognised by employers worldwide.
